96% of donors coming from Texas.
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – “Our momentum continues to build, and the support we’ve received has been tremendous,” said the release announcing Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott finished the 30-day pre-primary fundraising period with $29.4 million cash on hand. In the most recent 30-day pre-primary fundraising report from January 1 – January 23, Abbott reported raising over $3.1 million.
Abbott continued to display his strong showing of support among Texans, with 96% of donors from the latest report coming from Texas. Texans for Greg Abbott finance director Sarah Whitley offered the following statement in response to 
the overwhelming support:
“Greg Abbott is thrilled to have widespread support from Texans across the state, and our campaign will continue to discuss and promote ideas that will grow jobs, strengthen our education system, preserve individual freedom and limit the size and scope of government.”
