I look forward to working on common sense conservative issues
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas We know
the people of Texas have spoken loud and clear about the way our state government should function
and we intend to act said Texas State Sen. Kelly Hancock (R-North Richland Hills) shortly after his colleagues had unanimously elected him Chairman of
the Senate Republican Caucus at the State Capitol.
Its an honor to serve as Chairman of
the Senate Republican Caucus for the 84th Legislative Session said Hancock.
I look forward to working diligently on common sense conservative issues with Vice-Chairman Brandon Creighton and other members
of the Caucus Hancock said.
The Senate Republican Caucus meets regularly throughout each legislative session to discuss policy positions and prepare for floor votes.
As Chairman Hancock will be charged with building consensus amongst Senate Republicans and will serve as a public policy resource provider to his Republican colleagues.
Senator Kelly Hancock was elected in 2012 to represent Texas Senate District 9 including portions of Tarrant & Dallas Counties after serving three terms in the Texas House of Representatives where he advocated for the core conservative values of limited government lower taxes and strong family values.
