Heidi Group Founder Carol Everett Endorses David Dewhurst For U.S. Senate

width=72Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Today The Heidi Group founder Carol Everett endorsed David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate calling David a champion of the pro-life movement with a strong record of protecting the unborn.  The width=71Heidi Group founded by Everett in 1995 connects pregnant girls and women to pro-life resources in Texas. Everett has been a pro-life advocate for almost 30 years appearing on various radio and television shows and authoring a book. Lt. Gov. Dewhurst has been one of Texas strongest pro-life advocates Everett said. His commitment to the unborn has led to the strongest pro-life victories in the country. It is because of his leadership that pregnant girls and women across Texas have access to life-affirming options. His faith and strong Christian beliefs make him a man of high moral character. Since taking office he has been a loud voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. It is a great honor to receive the support of one of Texas most committed pro-life advocates said David Dewhurst. I look forward to continuing to help the pro-life movement in Washington as the next U.S. Senator from Texas. I believe all pregnant women and girls should be shown pro-life options and Carols work has connected hundreds of thousands of women to resources which have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Carol Everett founded The Heidi Group in 1995 after over a decade working to educate the pro-life movement about the day-to-day activities of abortion clinics. Prior to becoming a pro-life advocate Everett worked for six years in an abortion clinic after having an abortion herself in 1973. In 1983 Everett changed her life after finding God and began working to help pregnant women and girls by connecting them with pro-life options. The Heidi Group name is used for identification purposes only.  They are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization not a political action committee. This is the fourth major pro-life endorsement David has received in the last two weeks. The others include Texas Right To Life PAC President of Texans for Life Kyleen Wright and Texas Alliance for Life PAC.
