More Hispanics unemployed in poverty unable to grow businesses & worried sick

width=83Texas Insider Report: Washington D.C.  Since the president took office more Hispanics are unemployed living in poverty on food stamps unable to grow their businesses and worried sick width=148about their future especially when it comes to education and healthcare said the Hispanic Leadership Networks Jennifer Korn following Wednesdays Presidential Debate.  

We saw more of the same from President Obama flowery rhetoric plenty of excuses for broken promises and a doubling-down on his failed policies. The policies implemented by President Obama have not yielded the economic recovery that we all hoped for Korn said.
We need leadership in Washington that will implement policies that will create more good-paying jobs champion small business secure our energy independence foster trade with Latin America and reduce the Presidents $16 trillion debt. The Denver debate was proof-positive that come November voters will have a clear choice between two very different visions for the next four years.
The Hispanic Leadership Network recently partnered with Hispanicvote.com National Voter Registration Day and Turbo Vote to register educate and engage young voters in the democratic political process of our width=183country. September 25th Hispanic Vote brought together volunteers civic groups and other organizations from around the country in a National Voter Registration Day. This single day of coordinated field technology and earned media efforts seeks to increase the youths awareness of the opportunities to register to vote. Hispanics will not reach their full potential as an economic and political powerhouse in our country while a large number of our youth remain disengaged from our electoral process. It is now more critical than ever that young people from all walks of life are educated on the policy issues that matter most and encouraged to exercise their precious right to vote said HLN Executive Director Jennifer S. Korn. Hispanic Vote will focus on the key battleground states: California Arizona Ohio Florida Colorado New Mexico Nevada and Virginia where Hispanics comprise 13 or more of the electorate. In Virginia for example it is estimated that there are approximately 200000 Hispanic registered voters that could make the difference in the closely contested 2012 senatorial and presidential races said Hispanic Vote Founder Dennis Garcia.
