HRT to introduce newly elected Hispanic candidates victorious in statewide elections
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas As it stands today Hispanic leaders are disproportionately under-represented as elected officeholders. No so for much longer at least when the 2011 Texas Legislature convenes says the Hispanic Republicans of Texas. Numerous office holders were elected Tuesday across the state. And with numbers comes power.
Hispanics represent 37 of the population of Texas 48.6 of total students in public schools and 50 of the population growth.
Hispanic Republicans of Texas was been established to close the gap build leadership within the Hispanic community and support those who are ready to serve as elected leaders of this state.
They say its their responsibility to help other Hispanics. But most important its our responsibility to serve the greatest state in our nation Texas.
HRT not only actively recruits Hispanic Republicans to run for state and local office but it also provides the training and resources to help candidates.
