At a late afternoon Press Conference yesterday U.S. House Speaker John Boehner told reporters:

its essential that the American people have the confidence that its being done correctly. Thats how the House will approach this issue said Boehner.

For any legislation including a conference report to pass the House its going to have to be a bill that has the support of a majority of our members.
Time and again this closed-door back room Conference Committee is where conservatives have been betrayed. Leadership is obviously on notice.
The Senates Immigration Reform Bill S.744 passed 68-32 on Thursday and includes billions of dollars in additional funding for border security and a path to citizenship for 11 million illegal immigrants.
14 Republicans joined the entire Senate Democratic Caucus to support the measure. House Republican leaders have said the package is dead on arrival in their chamber. So far Speaker John Boehner is saying the right things.
