Hurd: If an American citizen did this the IRS wouldve them put in jail.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Let me state this plainly.
If an American citizen repeatedly failed to produce documentation the IRS demanded the IRS would pursue legal action
to have that citizen put in jail. Washington bureaucrats need to be held to the same standard and (IRS Commissioner)
Koskinen lied to Congress and the American people he works

for said Cong. Will Hurd (R-TX) as he and his Republican colleagues on the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee
called for President Obama to fire IRS Comm. John Koskinen.
Citing Koskinens failure to comply with a congressional subpoena and for making false statements to Congress Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) promised to pursue all constitutional remedies at our disposal including potential contempt proceedings or perhaps impeachment" of Director John Koskinen.
Under his direction the IRS has failed to produce the documents a congressional subpoena calls for.
Justice demands that Koskinen be held accountable for his actions and I will work with my Oversight colleagues to make sure thats what happens" Hurd said.
Congressman Hurd is a member of the
House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform where he serves on
the Information Technology Subcommittee as Chairman. Hurd is also a member of the important
House Committee on Homeland Security.
