AUSTIN - In the wake of Hurricane Ike’s destruction in District 150 Representative Debbie Riddle would like to distribute the following points of information throughout her district:
• At the time of this release there is currently no power or water at our district office off FM 1960. We will have the district office open as soon as possible. In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns or if there is anything that we can help you with please contact Jon English in our Capitol office in Austin at 512-463-0572. We will do our best to help you contact your insurance agents contact FEMA find food or shelter any other help you may need.
• While our office will help you in any way possible you are encouraged to call 2-1-1 which is now up and running to receive the fastest and most direct answers to your questions. For any emergency situations please call 9-1-1 immediately.
• At this time there is at least one FEMA center open and operating in the HEB parking lot in Tomball. There is also a supply distribution center open at Keins Grocery at FM2920 at Buvinghausen. We will send out more notices as more centers become available.
