June Unemployment Underscores The Obama Economy&" says Sessions

width=140Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Todays jobs report underscores the threat that higher taxes more government spending and bureaucratic red-tape has injected into our economy hindering much-needed job growth. To make matters worse the Presidents health care tax will make it even more difficult width=82for small businesses to hire in the Obama economy" said Cong. Pete Sessions (R-TX-32) a Member of the House Republican Leadership after the Department of Labor reported that the unemployment rate remained at 8.2 in June.

Todays jobs report underscores the need for pro-growth policies to help struggling Americans get back to work" Sessions said.

House Republicans remain deeply concerned about chronic unemployment across America and will continue to make job creation our top priority. We have passed over 30 bills from our Plan for Americas Job Creators to empower small businesses and entrepreneurs and next week we will vote to fully repeal the damaging health care law.

I urge Washington Democrats and the President to join our efforts to get Americans working again and ensure a brighter future for generations to come" said Sessions.
