Justice Dale Wainwright to run for Attorney General?

Hearing this morning that Texas Supreme Court Justice Dale Wainwright is now strongly considering a run for the AGs office.  Take note that he is the only one of the potential candidates who has won numerous competitive statewide general elections and statewide primaries.  Is he the elephant in the room that will define the race if he enters it?
