East Texas Representative Joins Conservative Colleagues Backing Paxton
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – (McKinney, Texas) – Today, State Senator and Republican Candidate for Attorney General Ken Paxton announced an endorsement from Texas State House Member James White.
In endorsing Senator Paxton, Representative White stated, “I fully and enthusiastically support Ken Paxton for Attorney General. I’ve known him as both as State Representative and State Senator, and time and time again I’ve observed his unyielding commitment to defending our conservative principles. Ken Paxton is the only candidate with a proven, tested record dating back over a decade. To fight President Obama and preserve Texas, we need Ken Paxton as our next Attorney General.”
Senator Paxton said, “I am honored to have the support of Representative White. Since James was elected to the House two terms ago, he has been a vigilant advocate for individual liberty, conservative values, and small government. Southeast Texas has a strong voice in District 19 and I’m happy to have James White’s endorsement for Attorney General.”
State Representative James White represents District 19 which includes Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Polk, and Tyler counties. Not only does Representative White have a solidly conservative record in the House, but he has also completed doctoral studies in political science, taught free enterprise economics, and bravely served the United States as an officer of Infantry in the Army.
