Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas As we prepare for the upcoming legislative session I am excited to welcome our new staff members and am pleased that these fine individuals have agreed to come on board said Lt. Governor David Dewhurst today announcing Constance Allison as Senior Policy Advisor Bryan Hebert as General Counsel Lauren Hensarling as Scheduler & Matt Hirsch as Press Secretary.
Each of them will bring years of experience to our office and I look forward to working together to tackle the challenges of the session ahead Dewhurst said.
Allison most recently served as the Chief of Staff for Senator Steve Ogden (R-Bryan) has previously served as Assistant General Counsel in Governor Perrys Office and was also an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas.
Allison attended Texas A&M where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She earned her law degree from Texas Tech University.
Hebert has 14 years of experience in and around the Texas Capitol serving as an attorney at the Texas Legislative Council as Deputy General Counsel for Lt. Governor Dewhurst and most recently as Executive Director for the Texas Conservative Roundtable a non-profit public policy group.
Hebert graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Political Science and received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Prior to working for Lt. Governor Dewhurst Lauren Hensarling served as the Director of Constituent Services for House Speaker Joe Straus. She attended Texas Christian University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communications & History.
Matt Hirsch is the former Communications Director for Lt. Governor Dewhursts U.S. Senate campaign. He has also served in various communications roles on Presidential & gubernatorial campaigns and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from George Washington University.
