McAllen Texas (Texas Insider Report) After the introduction of his
Secure Our Borders First Act Cong. Michael McCaul (R-TX) chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee brought 22 of his colleagues from all across the United States on a tour of the southwest border in McAllen Texas to examine the
evolving national security threats to the southwest border.
The delegation also reviewed first-hand best practices to secure land and sea borders technology currently deployed at the border and inter-governmental cooperation to secure the U.S. border.
The press conference follows the delegations tour of the southwest border in San Diego California Tucson and Sierra Vista
Arizona and McAllen Texas.
