McLeroy Earns Young Conservatives HD 44 Special Election Endorsement

The group has been providing grassroots conservative leadership across the state for more than 30 years. Myrna McLeroy has been a key grassroots leader for years and we are excited she is ready to take on entrenched special-interests in the House" said Tony McDonald YCT Senior Vice Chairman. We looked at the entire field asked questions attended forums and all signs pointed to Ms. McLeroy." YCT counts half-a-dozen alumni currently in the state legislature. YCT has a history of being active in the campaign process and gives its members opportunities to gain experience in campaigning by helping candidates the organization has endorsed. Myrna McLeroy is running for the seat in Texas House District 44. The seat was vacated with the passing of the late-Rep. Edmund Kuempel. Governor Rick Perry has called for a Special Election on December 14th. House District 44 covers Wilson Guadalupe and Gonzales counties.
