AUSTIN – Kerry Weems the Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will address the future of the Medicare and Medicaid programs in a speech to the Texas Public Policy Foundation on Thursday March 27th.
Weems has 25 years of experience at DHHS and has been recognized for his leadership under both Republican and Democratic administrations. He was appointed Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in September 2007.
