Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Mammograms are an important healthcare necessity for the early detection of breast cancer. Breast cancer is sadly becoming more and more common in women over the age of thirty-five;
making early detection a top priority. The surest way of beating cancer is simply being aware.
Cancer is serious and regular mammograms are a key component in womens health that cannot be overlooked.
Alonzo is introducing House Bill 170 which will give women the option of bypassing their healthcare provider and go directly to a mammogram clinic when necessary. Some women do not have the readily convenience of getting an annual mammogram due to a healthcare providers busy appointment schedule; this bill is the surest way to create an option for immediate screening.
Women who may fear the presence of a lump should be able to immediately get a mammogram which can detect over 85 of a cancerous presence. The agony of having to wait to be seen on a healthcare providers schedule is not helping aide breast cancers chief defender; early detection.
House Bill 170 is an obvious plan to make sure women are getting adequate healthcare.
