The Texas Senate did all we could to get this important TSA pat-down legislation passed and although our efforts were ultimately unsuccessful we will continue to work with our friends in the Texas House and Governor Perry to stop the invasive & unconstitutional searches of innocent passengers by TSA employees.
I want to thank the Members of the Texas Legislature − especially Representative Simpson & Senator Patrick − who never gave up the fight to pass the TSA pat-down bill even in the closing hours of this Special Session.
