I am thrilled about how this movement and this group have taken off" ICROTs founding member Sen. Dan Patrick commented.  The groups website has received over 75000 hits in its first week a vast majority of which are from right here in Texas.  All of the comments have been very positive.  Voters are excited about our contract and our core principles to put people before party" Patrick concluded. Comments on the groups website have come from all parts of Texas and from every corner of the country.   The word of your group and its principles needs to get out to America so Americans can unite with these common goals" commented Steve E. of Mesa Arizona.  For the first time in a very long time I actually believe someone can make a difference in helping the people get our country back.  Thank you and those who stand with you" said Bill M. of Fort Walton Beach Florida.  I knew there were good people in government and have been waiting for them to come out" concluded Ronald P. of Montgomery County Texas.  I have been waiting for Republicans to make this move.  This is the only way to go" offered Carl T. of San Diego California.  I am so glad you are doing this" Paul F. of Plano Texas added. Some have asked who are invited to join our group said Patrick.  Everyone was invited.  I am not concerned how members voted in the past.  Im only interested in how they vote in the future their commitment to our contract with Texas and their pledge to put people before party added Patrick.  With this second round of announced founding members the Independent Conservative Republicans of Texas have received pledges from 61 of the 66 returning Republican House members 15 of the 18 Republican members of the Texas Senate and virtually all of the Republican primary winners who have competitive races this fall.  All Senators and Representatives have now been contacted.  The nine Republicans who have not yet joined have either declined membership or have been unreachable.
