Assurances by the Obama White House that no laws were broken are like the Nixon White House promising it did nothing illegal in connection with Watergate. Quite frankly the reason for this need for an independent investigation is because all we have now is the presidents lawyer saying that no wrongdoing occurred. Of course theyre going to say no wrongdoing occurred ... thats why we need that independent investigation."
