Todd Staples has delivered time & again for the agriculture community and I am proud to be part of his winning team for this election" Ryan said.
In addition to his Hall of Fame major league career Ryan is a long time Texas rancher and leader in the agriculture community.
As a former major league pitcher I know the importance of having your ace on the
mound who can deliver in the clutch and be a team leader.
Staples was elected to serve as Commissioner of Agriculture in 2006 and previously
served in the Texas House of Representatives and in the Texas Senate.
As Agriculture Commissioner Todd has fought to protect land owner rights bring job creation to rural Texas further the promotion of Texas products around the world through the GO TEXAN program and helps farmers
and ranchers face tomorrows challenges through the use of new technologies and value-added processing.
