Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Organizing for America-Texas (OFA-TX) volunteers will join together at Moving America Forward" watch parties on college campuses all across the Lone Star State on Tuesday September 28 to watch President Obama speak at the youth-focused event at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
The President will stress the need for young voters in particular to be engaged in the political process and to vote in the elections this fall. President Obamas remarks will be telecast live to hundreds of watch parties across the country.
Organizing for America (OFA) is a grassroots project of the Democratic National Committee. OFAs network of volunteers and staff is actively working in all 50 states to promote the Presidents agenda for improving the country.
As Election Day nears the President will lay out the stakes for our great state and the country" said OFA-TX State Director Luke Hayes.
The choice for Texas voters this November is very clear. They can support Democratic leaders who will continue to make progress in Austin and Washington for our families and small b
usinesses or to return to the failed Republican policies that continue to plague our state capitol and nearly drove the nation into a 2nd Great Depression."
