An OEF/OIF Veterans Salute is set for Saturday October 20. This is a valley-wide VA event for all servicemen and women who served in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF.) The event will take place from 10 am-4 pm at the Weslaco National Guard Armory.The event will provide information on veterans’ benefits employment opportunities local colleges and universities free services/benefits for service men/women and readjustment seminars. Spouses and children are welcome to attend! Free food door prizes music children’s games will also be available.
