Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) today issued the following statement in support of todays annual March for Life in Washington DC:
Today on the 43rd anniversary of Roe vs Wade I have hope when I see so many Americans of all ages brave the cold and march in defense of life and respect for the unborn. This date represents a sad moment in American history but I remain steadfast in my hope that we can change hearts and minds and restore the sanctity of life in our society. I will continue my efforts to defund Planned Parenthood and hope the Supreme Court will uphold the Texas law that protects the health and well-being of women in need of care. We will continue to pray for the protection of all innocent life and I applaud the courageous advocates who are standing up for life today and every day.
