Republican takes 2nd step toward Young Gun status
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) announced earlier this week that Dianne Costa candidate in Texas new 25th Congressional District was elevated to their On the Radar designation viewed by

sponors & analysts as a threshold in the Young Guns program.
We are looking forward to working with Dianne Costa who has already proven herself by meeting rigorous benchmarks in the Young Guns program said NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX).
Founded during the 2007-2008 election cycle by Reps. Eric Cantor (R-VA) Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Paul Ryan (R-WI) the Young Guns program is a Member-driven effort that is the primary method for recruiting strong candidates for both open-seat & challenger races.
Specifically
the Young Guns program encourages candidates who have proven their ability to meet crucial campaign benchmarks to develop their campaigns further. In achieving On the Radar status Costas meeting of the NRCCs organizational & fundraising benchmarks blesses her campaign and is seen as a key threshold for further donor engagement.
During her tenure with the City of Highland Village Mayor Dianne Costa was well known for her regional thinking communication skills and her ability to build consensus.
Dianne Costas dedication & experience enables her to
advocate effectively for pro-growth policies and fight the failed status quo in Washington.
This will stand in stark contrast to the Obama-Pelosi record of spending borrowing and taxing that Texas families and small businesses know has failed said Sessions.
Costa must now work toward even higher goals in order to advance to the Young Guns program a further indication of building an effective campaign.
As a Distinguished Credentialed Mediator Dianne has a firm skill set that helps bring parties together for a common good. As a woman of faith she offers a conservative outlook that has served her well in dealing with a variety of responsibilities and decisions.
During her tenure as Mayor Costa raised the citys S&P rating and increased economic growth and vitality.
Said Costa of the designation What an honor it is to be recognized by such an elite group of conservatives interested in my campaign! The National Republican

Congressional Committee inspires me to continue my Pro-growth Conservative Back to the Basics philosophy of governing.
My staff and I will continue to build a campaign around which those in District 25 can rally. We will secure a seat in Washington that will be known for its Proactive No Nonsense representation Costa said.
The new 25th Congressional District stretches from the southern part of Tarrant County on its northern-most boundary to part of Hays County & the Austin suburbs in the South. Covering approximately 200 miles top to bottom CD-25 contains all or part of 13 counties.
