Did Patrick Rose break the law? by diverting campaign funds to personal use
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Democrat State Rep Patrick Rose in separate complaints filed on the same day earlier this month will have to explain why his campaign paid for over $15000 of personal vehicle maintenance including parking tickets insurance & registration. A 2nd claim alleges Rose expended 10s of 1000s of dollars & hundreds of tanks of gas to his campaign including personal travel. Doing so is a violation of Title 15 of the Texas Election Code.
Texans and one would hope the voters of House District 45 are fed up with career politicians like Patrick Rose saying one thing and then blatantly doing another" said Nicholas Carona Director of Legislative Affairs for
the YCT.
He says hes independent yet he votes with the liberals 90 of the time" Carona said.
The complaint provides Texas Ethics Commission Advisory Opinion No.

430 which clearly prohibits such activity.
Roses ethical lapses total over $36000.
He says hes fighting special interests yet special interests are the lifeblood of his campaign and apparently his personal bank account too" said YCTs Carona.
He needs to go" Mr. Carona continued If Rose cant be trusted to use donors money properly how can taxpayers trust him with theirs?"
