By Tom Pauken

Jerry Patterson for Lt. GovernorTexas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas– Please join me in voting in next week’s March 4th Republican Primary for fellow Vietnam veteran, and now Texas Land Commissioner, Jerry Patterson for Lt. Governor. Jerry Texas Insider Patterson, Jerry 6-14-13c2Patterson is a strong conservative, and the most pro-liberty candidate in this race. He is endorsed by former Cong. Ron Paul & Dick Armey, as well as the overwhelming majority of the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC).

Jerry is the only candidate who has received the highest A+ rating by both the NRA and the Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA).

Jerry is a retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel and a former Texas state senator. As a state senator, he authored SB60, the Texas Concealed Handgun Law, and has been the staunchest defender of 2nd Amendment rights in Jerry Patterson Banner Ad 9-25-12Texas.

When it comes to liberty, Jerry never backs down. Jerry is a strong proponent of local control of public education. Like myself, Jerry Patterson is opposed to unfunded federal and state education mandates. He is a firm believer in the importance of increasing vocational education opportunities for young Texans that will lead to good paying jobs in the skilled trades.

Jerry understands that “one size doesn’t fit all” when it comes to educating young people. He was a supporter of recent legislation in our state which will reduce the excessive number of state-mandated, standarized tests and move towards a more common sense approach to testing jerry patterson4our students.

Jerry has been referred to by Texas Monthly magazine as “an all too rare type of politician, an in-your-face, what-you-see-is-what-you-get, overachiever”.

Jerry Patterson’s reputation as a straight shooter who doesn’t back down in the face of adversity will serve us well as out next Lieutenant Governor of Texas.

You cannot make a better choice for Texas than Jerry Patterson. Please vote for Jerry for Lieutenant Governor.
