Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Among the descriptions of the Ryan decision" being brave risky bold dangerous etc. let me add another: The best! Governor
Romney expanded conventional political wisdom by not selecting a safer swing state" candidate. By the end of the campaign the national breadth of this vice-presidential pick will be recognized
to the benefit of conservatives everywhere.
The word seems to be that Paul Ryan is not that ... well known. That seems impossible given his participation in the Washington process in recent years; but even if that label is valid Congressman Ryan will quickly overcome it with the increased exposure and his intelligent articulate nature.
This selection shores up some negatives the Romney Campaign has had since the beginning:
1. The lukewarm reception of Governor Romney from the Tea Party and other conservatives.
This move seems to add credence to the campaigns conservative intent.
Ryan has done the work necessary to validate his expressed beliefs. He is respected by even the Democrats and trusted by conservative Republicans. We will all enjoy his making mincemeat of the opposition when

his budget plans (especially as related to Medicare) are attacked with verbiage that is short-sighted irresponsible and without benefit of alternatives.
2. Acknowledgment of the participation in the nations financial collapse by financial institutions.
Although government regulations may be stifling business growth in America it is undeniable that massive financial entities in collusion with the government played a key role in wrecking the world economy through bad speculations made with customers money. This was followed by the framing of a cataclysmic scenario which led to a taxpayer bailout.
Who could be better at presenting a balanced intelligent approach to freeing up businesses while advocating legislation preventing such atrocities in the future by the Wall Streeters." Such a position would serve the dual purpose of firing up the Tea Party and pulling the rug from under the Democrats incessant harping on favoring the rich" by Republicans.
3. The successful implementation of lies by Democrats using well known buzz words."
Congressman Ryan with his grasp of all concepts related to figures is the perfect person to address such terms as fair share" as applied to taxes and compassion" for people as applied to programs that will fail if not fiscally and structurally changed.
The hope here is that the Romney Campaign continues on its journey toward sound conservatism. We have seen the failures of moderate" Republican efforts (Bush the Elder-second campaign Dole McCain).

We have a winner here so long as the Democrats are answered in kind - all they can do is smear but the smears demand response - and Romney/Ryan otherwise continue to explain the true path to prosperity for all.
