Paxton Endorsed by Entire Collin County Commissioners Court

Paxton Senate Campaign Kicks Off 2012 with Key Endorsements width=71Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN TX (McKinney Texas) -  Adding to his growing list of endorsements Texas State Senate candidate Ken Paxton announced today that he has now earned the endorsement of Commissioners Duncan Webb Cheryl Williams and Matt Shaheen adding to his previous endorsements from Commissioner Joe Jaynes and Collin County Judge Keith Self. In making his endorsement Commissioner Duncan Webb of Plano said Ken Paxton has served as a strong advocate in the Texas House.  I am confident that he will represent all of SD 8 equally and fairly and I trust that he will represent our county well in Austin."  Commissioner Webb an attorney and former Plano ISD school board member was first elected to the commissioners court in 2010. His precinct covers the Collin County portion of Dallas as well as portions of Plano. Commissioner Cheryl Williams represents Parker Lucas Murphy St. Paul Lavon Nevada Copeville as well as portions of Allen Plano Josephine Dallas Richardson Sachse Wylie Garland Royse City and Fairview.  In endorsing Rep. Paxton she said Ken Paxton is an experienced statesman that has always been responsive to local elected officials. His open door approach to government is exactly what we need in Austin. He understands the needs of the county and he will work tirelessly to represent the conservative values of all of our residents. I know he will represent our cities and our county equally in the Texas State Senate."  Commissioner Williams was first elected to the court in 2010.  She is a former Plano City Council member and Mayor Pro-Tem and currently owns a consulting firm. Elected in 2008 Matt Shaheen serves as Commissioner for Precinct 1 representing West Plano Frisco Prosper Celina and Northwest McKinney.  Commissioner Shaheen is a former appointee of Governor Perry to the State Board of Social Workers and has also served on the Ethics Committee.   He said I know from experience that Representative Paxton is a real conservative who will fight for our principles. He knows how to build consensus and he will always fight for what is right. I trust that Ken will continue to fight for our constituents as a strong voice in the Senate." Commissioner Joe Jaynes stated I have known and worked with Ken Paxton for nearly 10 years. Both professionally and personally I know that Ken is a man of his word and I always know where he stands. Paxton has been endorsed by over 75 of precinct chairs eligible to endorse in SD 8 and he has earned the endorsement of Texans for Lawsuit Reform Texans for Fiscal Responsibility Texas Right to Life Conservative Republicans of Texas and Young Conservatives of Texas.
