Peggy Venable long-time taxpayer advocate and Ernie Angelo former RNC Committeeman added their strong support today to a growing list of endorsements for the Cruz campaign. Both Venable and Angelo are joining Cruzs Statewide Leadership Team.

Venable has worked in public policy and grassroots campaignsin government the political arena and the private sectorfor more than 30 years. She has served as a taxpayer advocate in Texas for 15 years and worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan.
Ernie Angelo has been a Republican leader in Texas for decades. He served as RNC Committeeman for 20 years. He was co-chairman of Ronald Reagans presidential primary campaign in 1976 and chairman of his presidential primary campaign in 1980 and also served as Mayor of Midland.
