Perry Picks Kinney Wright to TX Auto Burglary & Theft Prevention Authority

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry appointed Linda Kinney of Dripping Springs and Margaret “Jerry” Wright of El Paso to the Texas Automobile Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority. The authority assesses the scope of motor vehicle theft in Texas and supports a statewide law enforcement network through grants auto theft reduction initiatives education and public awareness.
 
Kinney is retired and formerly worked for the Texas Workforce Commission and Texas Railroad Commission. She is actively involved in various civic activities in Hays County. Kinney replaces Cindy Ramos-Davidson of El Paso. Her term expires February 1 2013.
Wright of El Paso is a Senior Associate Executive Administration of TVO North America. She is the board chair for the Professional Administrative Assistant Program Advisory Committee of El Paso Community College and serves on the board of the YMCA and Central Business Association.

Wright is also a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.  She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso.  She replaces Denise Anaya-Saenz. Her term expires Feb. 1 2009.
