President’s run 2 Strategic Plans concurrently.
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Callers to radio talk shows and Tea Party types like to say that Barrack Obama is the worst president since Jimmy Carter. And, maybe they’re right. But while Carter was a well-intentioned incompetent, President Obama knows exactly what’s he’s doing. He may be the smartest president in history – at least politically.
While Jimmy Carter became mired in “stagflation” and the “Misery Index” hit its highest point since we began measuring it, Barrack Obama has not let bad times stand in his way. He has run two strategic plans, concurrently, and both have worked wonderfully from his point of view.
The first plan is highly partisan in nature and designed to keep political opponents on the ropes while the main strategy is being implemented. So while the recovery has been exceptionally weak by historical standards, jobs are hard to find and wages are suppressed, the President has managed to keep the headlines focused where he wants them, keeping the culture wars churning.
He created a major class war where one did not previously exist, pitting the rich against the poor. He made up a Republican war against women allowing radical feminists to attack pro-life conservatives – and got Rush Limbaugh tangled up in it as a bonus! He attacked the principles of the Catholic Church, and made headlines by “evolving” into a radical backer of the homosexual agenda.
It’s not that these issues are unimportant; it’s simply that they were all contrived by Obama’s political wing to keep the news focused on social issues that will harm Republicans. And, heck, half the Republicans seem to agree with Obama on some of these issues. As we said, the President was smart to make them a big deal.
Meanwhile, the three-legged stool on which the future of Big Government sits is being implemented slowly but surely.
The first and most important, Obamacare, is a done deal. Senator Ted Cruz and a few others want to defund it, but Obama is too smart. He front-loaded the bill with all the items people will like – such as the pre-existing conditions rule – and all the stuff they will hate – like employer layoffs – will come later.
And then we’ll move to a single-payer system and Big Government will be in complete control.
Step two is fully underway and is likely to succeed, again with gullible Republicans falling in line. Establishment Republicans are taking advice from the most liberal of Democrats that they MUST support comprehensive immigration reform – amnesty – or they will never get the Hispanic vote.
The bottom line is just that. Republicans will never get the Hispanic vote. Ronald Reagan didn’t get it after he signed an amnesty bill. George W. Bush supported amnesty and the best he could do was about 44 percent.
The final leg is energy. Obama has been using the Environmental Protection Agency to get his policies through – but a full cap & trade system would mean even higher costs for gasoline and other fossil fuels, something Obama is on record as supporting. Then, he can get back to work on funding more Solyndras and cramming more vegetable oil into our gas 
tanks whether we want it or not.
While we’ve been feuding over gay marriage, President Obama has been working to get Obamacare past the point of no return. The current agenda item is amnesty, and cap & trade is on deck. At that point, it’s three strikes and out.
The Tea Party and the Republican Party will have been totally snookered by a community organizer from Chicago, who played them like an accordion.
