Police Allowed to Track Cell Phones Without Warrants

width=236Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. A U.S. District Court ruled last week that police dont need a warrant to obtain GPS data sent from a suspects cell phone. Those advocating for such permissions say it helps police ensure personal security but privacy rights advocates argue more and more people are losing what was left of privacy. Is anyone safe from surveillance then?   The household video surveillance market is now expected to reach around $25 billions dollars by 2016.
