While the poll shows a margin that is within the sampling error of plus or minus 3-age points the Obama
Campaign had hoped to see a boost in the tell-tale state as the Democratic National Convention gathered in Charlotte with hopes of solidifying the Presidents numbers.
The Elon University Poll was conducted with live interviewers by cellphone and landline among 1089 likely voters.
