Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – The Glenn Hegar Campaign announced today that it has received the endorsement of several pro-life leaders and organizations.
“Over the last several months, I have stood shoulder to shoulder with these conservative leaders to increase protections in women’s healthcare in Texas and to make Texas the leading pro-life state in the nation. I am deeply honored to receive their strong support and endorsement,” Hegar said.
In the recent special session of the Texas Legislature, Hegar was the senate author of House Bill 2, the landmark pro-life legislation that protects the unborn and improves healthcare for Texas women.
“As the father of two wonderful young daughters and the husband of a strong Texas woman, it has been my great honor to lead the fight this past special session to pass House Bill 2, and having these fine conservative ladies endorse my campaign is a tremendous honor,” commented Hegar.
