Observance of Good Friday and Easter. The origin of the term Good is not clear. Some say it is from Gods Friday; others maintain it is from the German Gute Freitag and not English. Sometimes too the day was called Long Friday by the Anglo-Saxons and in Spanish it is Viernes Santo or Holy Friday.
Easter is the holiday marking the rebirth of Jesus. It is considered a blessed time to celebrate life death and ressurection. For Children its a time to enjoy chocolate bunnies and Candied Easter Eggs. May you have a blessed Friday and a Happy Easter.
