“As a Reaganite and former White House Liaison in the Reagan Administration I feel compelled to speak out on the name given a new anti-Speaker Craddick PAC. I am appalled that Republicans (some who have not embraced the Reagan vision nor voted for one of Ronald Reagan’s key initiatives) have the audacity to use Ronald Reagan’s name for their PAC. Perhaps Chairman Hill in serving on the board of the PAC will now embrace spending limits which put taxpayers in control over the growth of government along with appraisal caps which are Ronald Reagan’s legacy. Championing those policies would have been Reaganesque during the legislative session. With four days left in the session it is simply opportunistic.”
