Democratic candidates to appear at events Wednesday August 18 - Saturday August 21
Texas Insider Report: HOUSTON Texas Barbara Ann Radnofsky 2010 Democratic nominee for Texas Attorney General and Senator Hector Uribe 2010 Democratic nominee for Texas Land Commissioner will be on a South Texas tour on Wednesday August 18 through Saturday August 21. Radnofsky and Sen. Uribe will be speaking about their policies and the benefits they will bring to the region and the people of South Texas.
Radnofsky: I am a great admirer of Sen. Uribes civil rights expertise and devotion. This is our second extended campaign trip together and Im looking forward to working with him in State Government when hes Land Commissioner.
Radnofsky will discuss the cornerstone issue of her campaign: fighting Wall Street to get back the billions of dollars that Texans and Texas lost from Wall Street fraud and misconduct.
Radnofsky will emphasize vital interests of South Texans in voting in the 2010 general election.
Both former State Senator Uribe & Radnofsky say election outcome will affect every aspect of everyday lives concentrating upon whether the State accepts:
- Racial profiling
- Pollution
- Cutbacks in vital social services
- Education deterioration
- Voter intimidation
- Ignoring reforms needed in child support and
- The fate of a VA Hospital south of San Antonio.
In addition to speaking about the importance of South Texas turning out to vote for the statewide Democratic ticket in November Senator Uribe will discuss his goal to lead the General Land Office into the 21st Century with a focus on promoting renewable energy sources.
