More likely voters believe Republican Donald Trump is more honest than Democrat Hillary Clinton
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Republicans have a lot more confidence in Donald Trumps honesty than do Democrats in Hillary Clintons. And yes more likely voters believe Donald Trump is more honest than Hillary Clinton.
A new Rasmussen Reports Poll on Wednesday said 30 of all likely U.S. voters believe Republican Donald Trump is more honest than most other politicians. Just half as many 15 think Clinton is more honest than most of her peers the pollster said.
And when it comes to Hillary Clinton the honesty gap is evident even among Democrats where only 27 said they believe Clinton is more honest than other politicians. 50 of Republicans believe Trump is more honest than other politicians.
Clinton has been dogged by trust and honest issues which flared anew last week when she was hit again on her email scandal.
The survey of 1000 Likely Voters was conducted on May 29-30 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is /- 3 percentage points with a 95 level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research LLC. See methodology.
