Raul Torres Campaign Receives Cornyn Endorsement for State Rep. 33

Says Cornyn clearly the stakes in this election could not be higher. Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Thats why we need to support Raul Torres for the Texas House of Representatives District 33. Raul will fight politics as usual and will keep partisan Democrats from turning the state into a carbon copy of California said Cornyn.   I am proud to announce that Senator John Cornyn just endorsed my candidacy and has released a video of his endorsement said Raul Torres. My opponent has repeatedly voted to raise taxes and increase spending in the same manner that created all the problems in California said Torres.

If my opponent is allowed to continue with this reckless tax and spend policies it will only serve to compound our own budget problems to the point where they become virtually unsolvable. 

Senator Cornyn went on to say:

Raul Torres will stop the Texas takeover planned by a hand picked group of personal injury trial lawyers and the ideologues who think big government always knows best.

Solomon Ortiz Jr. is just such an ideologue and over the years has proven it by his radical ideas and outrageous positions on taxes and spending said Torres. His being fined twice by the Texas Ethics Commission and recently denying the fines were even levied is another example that Ortiz has no business representing the hard working and overtaxed families of District 33.
