Texas Insider Report: GREENVILLE Texas After much anticipation State Rep. Dan Flynn welcomed Governor Rick Perry to House District 2 Wednesday May 23rd to help turn out Republican voters & talk budget isues. Perry publicly endorsed Flynn earlier this month.
Representative Flynn will be introducing the Governor who will speak to East Texans on his Texas Budget Compact which is a plan to bring more conservative fiscal sense to the states budget and tax system in the upcoming session.
Several groups have signed on as honorary co-hosts for the event to welcome Governor Perry to East Texas and the new House District 2. Honorary co-hosts include Hunt County GOP Chairman David Hale Hopkins County GOP Chairman Donnie Wise baker Van Zandt County GOP Chairman Lance Lentz Hunt County GOP Club Greenville ISD Superintendent Don Jeffries Boles ISD Superintendent Graham Sweeny and State Senator Bob Deuell.
