Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Election Day 2010 was a victory for all Conservative Texans. The people had spoken and it is apparent that they demanded a conservative limited government that they stood for strong traditional values they wanted their borders secured and they wanted their leaders to follow the constitution.
In this Speakers Race Texans were allowed to weigh in with their opinion on the speakership. While the current Speaker was not the first choice of many conservative voters he deserves our congratulations on his re-election and thanks for his service to Texas as a matter of respect and courtesy.
Being respectful does not mean we have to acquiesce.
Citizens and taxpayers who worked hard for a conservative for Speaker need to stay vigilant and focused on the issues to ensure that the outcomes are achieved. Lawmakers need to be held accountable to those who voted them into office. Conservatives expect us to now work to ensure that taxpayer protections are

paramount to deliver meaningful tax relief for property owners and small businesses and a budget balanced through spending restraint and no tax increases.
Our plan has not changed I had planned to support legislation to assure that Texans have a better brighter future. The Texas Legislature as a group are all dedicated to finding solutions to insure the present and future well being of all Texans
As for myself I will remain dedicated to supporting the strong conservative values that I believe the constituents of House District 2 desire; and I will only support the measures that uphold these values.
