Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON DC (HOUSTON) Congressman Gene Green invites constituents to his 14th Annual Job Fair on Thursday May 5th at the San Jacinto College North Campus from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be companies from a variety of industries looking to recruit for full-time part-time and summer jobs. There will also be positions available for youth and young adults ages 16-21.
The 29th District is a hardworking area where there is never a shortage in demand for better jobs" Green said. We not only want to help people find employment we want to help them move into higher-paying jobs so that they can get ahead and support their families. This year we have a diversity of employers for those seeking entry level positions advancement and career changes."
Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes and dress professionally. There will be on-sight interviews apprenticeship opportunities and job training as well as interview and resume critiquing with representatives from Workforce Solutions.
