His 18th Annual Immunization Day, Affordable Care Act Forum, and Senior Issues Forum will provide constituents of all ages with free health services and important information.

DETAILS: Join Congressman Green, Houston Dynamo Charities, KRBE, Yellow Cab – Greater Houston, Harris County Hospital District, Texas Children’s Hospital and Rotary International for prizes and entertainment while free immunizations are provided to school-age children. DETAILS: * UPDATE* Open enrollment for the federal Health Insurance Marketplace begins October 1, 2013. Congressman Green and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Regional Director Marjorie Petty will discuss the Health Insurance Marketplace, insurance plans, and how to enroll. Local Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) will also be present to provide information on where to sign up for coverage and answer questions one-on-one.

WHEN: Tuesday, August 27 – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

DETAILS: * UPDATE* Congressman Green will hold a special discussion on legislative issues affecting seniors. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Regional Director Marjorie Petty and agency representatives from the Social Security Administration, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Houston/Harris County Area Agency on Aging, and Better Business Bureau Education Foundation will share information on their programs and services and be available to answer questions.
