Green spoke with the classroom of Pasadena ISDs Elementary Teacher of the Year Jami Lepold read to a group of students in the school library and presented a U.S. flag to Pearl Hall.
Its really important that we take time to encourage our students and stress the importance of reading and doing well in school. Even at a young age when they know that we support them it can stick with them and give them confidence to pursue their interests and dreams" stated Rep. Green.
