Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas State Representative Jodie Laubenberg a champion for conservative values has endorsed Dr. Steve Nguyen in the House District 115 runoff election which will be held on July 31.

I have gotten to know Steve Nguyen as a committed conservative during his service as a Republican Party Precinct Chair GOP convention delegate and dedicated campaign volunteer for various local Republicans. Steve will be the conservative principled and effective leader that families in House District 115 deserve."

Nguyen received strong support from voters and has earned the endorsement of former All-American Pro Bowl football player Dat Nguyen and former Republican Party of Texas Chairman Tom Pauken.
Dr. Nguyen (pronounced WIN) lives in north Irving with his wife Lien and their two children Max and Sidney Claire. He is a successful optometrist and small business owner. Governor Perry appointed him to serve on the Texas Health Coordinating Council and he serves on the Texas Comptrollers Business Advisory Council. Dr. Nguyen is also politically active; serving as a Republican Party Precinct Chair delegate to the four most recent Republican state conventions and a volunteer on numerous federal state and local campaigns.
