Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas People want to know they are being heard which is why
we have made direct contact with more than 23000 voters since September said Representative Stefani Carter in announcing she has already earned more than 1000 endorsements in her re-election campaign.
More than half her endorsements are from the city of Richardson who are new to House District 102. Carters support is particularly strong considering the redistricting maps have just been finalized.
By reaching out to voters throughout the new district and letting them know we share the same conservative values and vision for House District 102 we are able to earn their confidence and support" Carter said.
Richardson community leaders who have announced their endorsement of Carters campaign include:

- Frank Leftwich
- Gerry Leftwich former Richardson City Councilmember
- John Murphy former Richardson City Councilmember
- Ron Natinsky former Dallas City Councilmember
- Nancy Natinsky
- Bill Sproull
- Karen Mitchell and
- Jan Woody former Trustee for Dallas County Schools

Five members of the Richardson City Council have also endorsed Carter in her re-election to the Texas House: Mayor Pro Tem Laura Maczka Former Mayor Steve Mitchell and City Councilmembers Amir Omar Mark Solomon and Scott Dunn.
Carter who is seeking her second term in the Texas House serves on the Committees on Criminal Jurisprudence and Energy Resources. She is a former Collin County prosecutor and Harvard Law School graduate.
In her first term Texans for Fiscal Responsibility awarded Carter the Taxpayer Champion award for her strong fiscally conservative voting record Capitol Inside gave Carter an Honorable Mention for being a top-performing freshman and the James A. Baker Institute at Rice University ranked Carter the thirty-second most conservative Member of the 2011 Texas House of Representatives.
