Cedar Park Leander Endorsements Announced
(Cedar Park TX) For the past four and a half years Stephen Thomas has served as an elected member of the Cedar Park City Council where he also served a term as Mayor Pro-Tem. Today Thomas Republican primary candidate for State Representative House District 20 graciously accepted several major campaign endorsements. Thomas has achieved a highly regarded career serving in Texas state government management positions for over 24 years. Thomas served the City of Cedar Park as a Council member for four and a half years (2005-2009) including time as Mayor Pro-Tem. He served our country for 14 years in a number of command and staff assignments as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Thomas currently holds the position of deputy executive director of the Texas Facilities Commission the state agency that manages construction maintenance and leasing of millions of square feet of office space hospitals public safety installations and other statewide holdings and facilities.
Thomas announced his intention to seek the open State House District 20 seat which includes all of Milam and portions of Williamson counties on October 5.
