Receipts minus disbursements leave Cash on Hand … or debt.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican National Committee (RNC) out-raised the Democratic National Committee (DNC) by $2 million during July, and sits on $12 million in cash. The DNC, meanwhile, is a net balance of $14 million in the red. Ironic, or transitory?
The DNC raised $3.9 million in July, and spent $5.4 million, holding $4.1 million Cash on Hand, and $18.5 million in debt.
The RNC raised $5.9 million in July, and spent $6.3 million, holding $12.3 million Cash on Hand, and no debt.
- The DCCC raised $4.4 million in July, spent $3.0 million, holding $14.6 million Cash on Hand, and no debt.
- The NRCC raised $4.4 million in July, spent $3.6 million, holding $12.1 million Cash on Hand, and $750,000 in debt.
The Republican National Committee reported receipts of $5,859,144 and disbursements of $6,330,364 in July, leaving $12,267,525 Cash on Hand as of July 31, and no debts.
The committee raised $3.1 million from contributors giving $200 or less and itemized $2.5 million from donors giving more than $200. PACs gave $36,000.
The Republican National Committee spent:
- $1,261,042 on postage
$849,585 on mail production services
- $719,290 on salaries & payroll
- $345,410 on data services
- $812,578 on telemarketing, and
- transferred $514,897 to state party committees
The Democratic National Committee/DNC Services Corp. reported receipts of $3,858,625 and disbursements of $5,386,438 in July, leaving $4,143,852 cash on hand as of July 31, with debts of $18,466,369.
The committee raised $2.1 million from contributors giving $200 or less, and $1,458,577 from those giving more than $200. PACs and other committee gave $190,909.
The Democratic National Committee/DNC Services Corp. spent:
- $638,267 on direct mail
- $494,776 on salaries & payroll
- $229,745 on data services
- $190,909 on list rental, and
- transferred $1,094,624 to state party committees.
- The committee also repaid $1 million on their outstanding loan debt with Amalgamated Bank of New York.
