Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas - The Railroad Commission of Texas assessed $259473 in fines involving 172 enforcement dockets against operators and businesses at the Commissioners conference earlier this week. The Commission has primary oversight and enforcement of the states oil and gas industry and intrastate pipeline safety.
No Master Default Orders were on the March 8 conference agenda.
Operators were ordered to come into compliance with Commission rules and assessed $64723 for oil and gas and LP-Gas rule violations.
