On the most important economic votes held every congress.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. Today
Congressman Sam Johnson (3rd Dist-Texas) announced that he has earned
a 100 score from Americans for Prosperity one of the nations leading conservative grassroots organizations based on his
solid voting record supporting economic freedom.
I feel overwhelming grateful to receive this respected ranking from Americans for Prosperity. I think we all can agree that a free-market and smaller government leads to greater economic success for all Americans. Pure and simple.
According to
Americans for Prosperity (AFP) their mission is to mobilize citizens to advocate for policies that cut red tape and increase opportunity put the brakes on government overspending and get the economy working for hard
workers not special interests.
AFPs esteemed scorecard highlights the most important economic votes held every congress.
This ranking also follows Johnsons recent
accolades from the conservative organization and its more than two million members for his role in fighting to repeal a transportation program which diverts almost a billion of federal gas dollars annually to state and local projects such as the beautification of trails.
As a fiscal conservative I will continue to fight to ensure that the money set aside for serious transportation infrastructure improvements are used for their intended purpose fortifying bridges and improving roads and not creating new bike paths.
It is a privilege and an honor to continue to promote the conservative values of the hardworking patriots in my district and to have the support of prized organizations such as Americans for Prosperity.
